Upton upon Severn is a lovely small riverside town in south Worcestershire. If forms the perfect base from which to explore the surrounding areas, or when visiting shows held at the Malvern Three Counties Grounds or other nearby events such as Cheltenham Races.
The Malvern Hills, Croome Court and nearby towns and cities of Pershore, Tewkesbury, Evesham, Cheltenham, Worcester, Gloucester and Hereford are all immediate or easy reach, and if spending a few days in the area then the Cotswolds, Stratford upon Avon, the Black Country Living Museum and the Severn Valley Railway are amongst may attractions that would make excellent days out.
Upton upon Severn is itself the host of four major music festivals each year, with Folk, Blues and Jazz festivals followed by the Sunshine Music Festival to close the season. Best to book early if you are intending visiting for a festival!
